Sunday Classes
TIME: 9 AM to NOON
DATES: May 11, May 18, May 25, June 1, June 8, June 15
LOCATION: Historic 4th Ave. Coalition Space, 311 East 7th St.
COST: $200 for the 6 week course ($25 for the clay you will need, all other tools & materials supplied at no addtional fee)

Lisa has over 30 years of teaching experience. Each class is designed by her to build your confidence as an emerging artist. The classes are a blend of the practical foundational elements of working with clay and drawing out your own unique perspectives and experiences that will make your work one of a kind.
Each week there is a different emphasis of the hand-building foundational skills of pinch, coil, and slab techniques. Using slips, glazing, & firing will also be part of your curriculum.
By the end of your 6 weeks, you will have finished work and the capacity to begin your own creative clay journey!

CLASS POLICIES
Small businesses, like LSJ Arts, have a few additional requirements that help us be more capable of delivering a quality experience for you. Here are our requirements for the Hand-Building Classes:
Class Sizes…need to reach 5 registrants for the class to be viable. We will cap each class size at 10 participants. This will allow for a more intimate and personalized experience for each participant.
Cancellation Policy…we understand that important issues arise, sometimes in very unexpected ways. If you need to cancel your registration for a course of classes, we will make every effort to slot you into another upcoming set of classes. We can even make arrangements to do individualized sessions with you. We are unable to make a cash refund within 7 days of the start of a course.
Class Fees…Registration for each of the 6 week 18 hour courses is $200. There is a clay fee of $25. All other tools, slips, glazes, and firings will be covered by your registration fee.
* Classes are for people 18 years of age and older.
